April 27, 2007, plenary speaker, Media in Transition, MIT, Boston (videos or podcast of the Collaboration and Collective Intelligence panel). My talk was called What the MySpace Generation Should Know About Working For Free.
I presented the lecture The New Media Paradigm and the Future of Film to faculty at Mt. Holyoke College and The Five Colleges (1 hour, ".m4b" file, 20.8 MB or ".mov" file, 20.8 MB, short text version).
In October 2006 I lectured at The Architecture League in New York City, (".mov" 41 MB). To see and listen to all presentations at the Architecture and Situated Technologies conference, see the website of the Architecture League. This developed into a talk Zurich (CH) in November 2006.
On November 25, 2007 I contributed the lecture Core Skills for Facing the Challenges of Participatory Cultures in Education to the Bildung im Neuen Medium conference at the University Hamburg, Germany (click through presentation)
On April 07, 2007 I contributed a remote presentation to the Web 2.0 Conference at De Balie, Amsterdam: The Paradox of Labor on the Sociable Web (".m4b," 5.9 MB). A more detailed version of this lecture followed on March 30, 2007 at a panel with danah boyd, Ethan Zuckerman called “Democratization and Sociable Media” at the Vera List Center, New School University, New York City (9.3MB .mov or as ".m4B" file)
Also in spring 2007 I lectured with Ulises A. Mejias as part of the OurFloating Point Series at Emerson College in Boston (".mb4," 1.4 MB)
On March 22, 2007 I presented a keynote for “Negatec” in the Espacio Fundacion Telefonica, Buenos Aires, Argentina
