Santa Fe Art Institute this Week

sfai.jpgI was amazed that the Santa Fe Art Institute would invite me to spend three days at their spectacular place (see left)-- and that in the company of artists and scholars such as Hans Haacke, Harrell Fletcher, Mel Chin, and Laurie Anderson (as part of the Comfort Zone Series).  Diane Karp has really done an amazing job there over the past years!

I'll offer a general introduction to sociable web media, followed by a 2 day workshop focused politics and participatory media. We will look at sociable media for social change in the US and the relationship between mobile technologies and activism in developing countries. If you are in Santa Fe-- please come by.

Lecture: April 20, 6 pm, Tipton Hall
Workshop: April 21-22, SFAI
