Where is the Boeing 757?

   impact.jpg
All over the Internet stories spread that question the alleged attack of a Boeing 757 on the Pentagon in 2001. Many of these sites are ludicrous scifi speculations. Better stories show that both sides of the story have some credibility. In 2002 the Guardian covered the topic.

Where is the plane? Some early reports in the Washington Post quote many eyewitnesses. But indeed, when seeing the footage that CNN and other stations provided there is not a glimpse of evidence that there ever was an airplane. This documentary on Google Video is among the longest pieces on the subject. Another, shorter piece including the original CNN footage I found on Youtube.
All of this sounds very much like (eerie) conspiracy theories but the material presented does leave an aftertaste of doubt.
