Heads-down computing

eyecontact.jpgMuch of the case that many cellphone proponents made for ubiquituous computing was that it is the end of heads-down computing. But indeed, out in the city I see this all the time. People look down to their device to text, read email, watch a video or play a game. Locative is just as heads-down, only now we witness it in an urban context.
